OshKosh Corporation Volunteers Pack Piles of Pasta

In Western Maryland, the Maryland Food Bank and volunteers from the OshKosh Corporation teamed up to help fill up plates—with pasta.
On Nov. 13, 200 volunteers from the Hagerstown office of OshKosh got to work packing 30,000 pounds of pasta for distribution through the food bank’s network of community partners in Western Maryland. This is the second year that OshKosh has volunteered to support communities in the Western part of the state facing food insecurity.
“It’s wonderful to see our community pitching in to support neighbors in Western Maryland, especially as the holiday season approaches. It takes all of us to fight for greater food security in Maryland—so thank you, OshKosh volunteers!”
In that part of the state, transportation challenges, increasing prices for food, and other economic factors have driven up food insecurity by 13% since 2019. Thankfully, partners like OshKosh Corporation provide the sauce to get nutritious food to neighbors seeking more stability. ![]()
