From Beatles To Breakfast: Chris Keith and Local Musicians are Changemakers

“We love the work the Maryland Food Bank does, and everyone loves The Beatles, so we thought this was a great way to create awareness and help people feed their families,” said Chris Keith, founder of CKP Productions.

Chris is the promoter and organizer of “Come Together,” a musical celebration benefitting the Maryland Food Bank held on May 22, 2026.

Opening its doors just a few years after the Maryland Food Bank’s founding in 1979, host venue the 8×10 Club’s goal was always “to provide a stable place where bands and fans can grow together through music and art.” And for at least this one night (prior to its closing on June 30) the establishment is helping provide stability through food security for neighbors in need.

“Knowing that 1 in 3 people in Maryland can’t always feed themselves floored me,” said Chris. “And as a father of two, I want my kids to know what it means to give back, to understand empathy and be able to put themselves in someone else’s shoes, that’s why. I wish I could do more.”

Proceeds from the $30 ticket to see local artists—including The Speakers of the House, Kelly Bell Band, Sweet Leda, Dave Hill, Foland, Brickfoot, Rezin, and more—cover Beatles’ classics will provide thousands of meals for neighbors seeking food security.

Thank you Chris Keith (and musicians) for being Changemakers!end story icon
