Deonta Sweets is battling childhood hunger through the innovative HEART Market program, helping kids develop lifelong healthy eating habits.
On September 12, we deployed our staff to MFB partner sites from the western mountains to the Eastern Shore to show that we all can do more to help end hunger for more Marylanders as part of our first ever “MFB Day of Service.”
The underlying causes of hunger don’t magically disappear after high school, in fact, they can become even more challenging for college students.
