Since 2018, the Maryland Women of Asphalt have been fighting hunger by supporting a Baltimore-based food pantry. Now they’ve added in volunteering and a Christmas in July fundraiser to their philanthropic efforts – true Changemakers indeed!
Tonight, on Baltimore’s WBAL-TV, the Maryland Food Bank will premiere a brand-new TV special, spotlighting the efforts of volunteers, staff, farmers, and other supporters to fight hunger and increase food security in Maryland.
Barely old enough to drive, let alone help a major charitable organization, Changemaker Yiannis Docouto combined his passion for cars and desire to support a local cause into “Drive for Change,” a local car show benefiting the Maryland Food Bank.
